People amaze me at the lengths they will go to when they set out on doing something they love.

Despite what some people will tell you, sometimes it is too cold to go boating.

…no, no I don’t. I bet they have quite the story to tell. I know I’d love to hear it!
Have all your 2019 travel plans figured out?
Are you banking on getting a permit to float the Middle Fork of the Salmon River next year?
Are you not concerned at all about the low probability of winning a permit?
Are you one lucky son of a bitch?
If you answered yes to all of those questions that I totally respect you, and secretly hope that you invite me on your trip.
For the rest of us, tomorrow is the first day that applications will be accepted for the 2019 lottery control season. The time is now upon us all to reach out to our rafting groups, close friends, family, or even random strangers and form permit-alliances with them in hopes to greater your odds of winning.
Best of luck to you all! Cheers!
December 1, 2018 is the date that recreation.gov will start to accept the lottery applications for the upcoming 2019 rafting season on the beautiful Middle Fork of the Salon River.
Lottery applications will be accepted until January 31, 2019 at 11:59pm, so you still have some time to get your potential scheduling figured out.
Best of luck to everyone out that that is putting in for a permit!
